Manager Ruben Amorim has revealed that there will be “clarification” regarding his anticipated transfer to Manchester United following Sporting’s match against Estrela on Friday. Until the international break scheduled from November 11 to 19, Amorim is expected to stay with the Portuguese club Sporting.
There remains ambiguity over whether a deal has been finalized for Amorim to take the managerial role at Old Trafford, following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag on Monday. Sporting currently holds an unbeaten record in their league season, leading by three points ahead of Lisbon rivals Benfica.

Manchester United has refrained from making any official statement. Amorim reiterated that the situation would be clearer following Friday’s game: “By tomorrow, we should have a decision.”
